MCS Consultant (IT Operations) Microsoft Russia and CIS

Location: Moscow

Requirements:
University Degree, degree in Computer Science is an advantage;
Qualifications include 2+ years of corporate IT industry experience in System Management products and solutions (MS products based) design;
Equivalent work experience (consulting experience), MCSE 2000-2003 is preferred;
Passion for service quality and customer satisfaction;
Deep knowledge of:
- Microsoft SMS 2003;
- Automated SW installation technologies;
- WSH, VBScript, batch files;
- Management protocols (WMI, SNMP etc.) ;
- Desktop Windows OS (Windows 9x, NT, 2000 Pro, XP);
Good knowledge of:
- Windows 200x Server Infrastructure (AD, DNS, DHCP, WINS, RIS);
- Microsoft SQL Server - Transact SQL, basic administering;
- Competitive Management Solutions (one of: Altiris, Tivoli, Landesk etc.);
Basic knowledge of:
- Microsoft Operations Manager 2005;
- .Net architecture and programming (C#, VB.Net);
- Basic Web programming and administering (IIS, Windows Sharepoint Services, ASP/ASP.Net);
- Competitive Monitoring Solutions (HP OpenView, Tivoli, NetIQ);
- Competitive Operating Systems (Solaris, HP UX, Linux);
Basic project management knowledge;
Multi-tasking, ability to run several projects at a time;
Self-starter, energetic, reliable, performance-oriented and task oriented;
Fluency in English is mandatory (both written and oral);
Ability to travel across CIS and abroad.

Functions:
- Deliver consulting projects;
- Understand the consulting activities and statuses, and provide adequate advice/support/reports:
- Build relationships with customer’s TDMs (Technical Decision Makers);
- Understand customer business needs (pain points) and map to MS solutions / products;
- Grasp customer’s problems and issues, and provide the means, techniques, and the technologies to resolve them.
