SAP BW Consultant (Санкт-Петербург)
Accountabilities:
1. Resolve Trouble Tickets (TT) and Change Requests (CR) as needed
2. Monitor queues for newly assigned TTs or CRs
3. Train and mentor other resources
4. Work with the customer to further investigate issues when necessary
5. Communicate with off-site resources to ensure all information relative to the trouble ticket is provided
6. Correct script error defects
7. Complete any assignments assigned during release cycles in regards to testing efforts and data migration
8. Production cut-over activities
9. Consult on functional requirements and specifications
10. Participate in JAD sessions for high complexity or highly critical BW-BI development / changes that are part of a release
11. Evaluation of business content versus custom extraction, transformation and loading
12. Translate requirements to design
13. Back-end design, construction and unit test of the ODS, InfoCubes, MultiCubes, and InfoPackages and all back-end components (e.g. ODS, Transactional InfoSource/Datasources, flexible Master Data InfoObjects, Transfer Rules, User Exits, Update Rules)
14. Ability to effectively unit test backend components
15. Prepare design review documentation
16. Support solutions reviews with the customer
17. Write effective test scripts to test the design
18. Write various technical documentation for back-end components
19. Support integration/regression testing
20. Prioritize and resolve defects
21. Perform application load performance tuning
22. Provide knowledge transfer as needed
23. Provide production support as needed
Required Qualifications
1. Good written and oral communication.
2. Ability to articulate and communicate design.
3. Ability to work well within a team as well as other interfacing teams (BASIS, DBA etc) and able to handle tasks with multiple priorities.
4. Ability to learn quickly and work independently.
5. Strong understanding of database design and data warehousing concepts
6. Strong ABAP skills (at least 2 years) with strong skills in performance tuning as relates to data loading and query performances, debugging code if necessary and writing SQL.
7. Familiarity with at least 1 R/3 modules (SD, MM, FI/CO, PS, HR) with some core competency and/or experience in at least one of them.
Desired Qualifications
1. Experience and competence with the BW Admin Workbench and R/3 extraction for BW.
2. Experience with BW Business Explorer, Web Designer and other web tools.
